Cooperation with Coach Dani Vallverdu Ends

At the end of 2020 Karolína Plíšková ends her cooperation with coach Dani Vallverdu. The connection lasted one year.

Dani Vallverdu became Karolina’s coach in November 2019 and their first event together ended with a triumph at Brisbane International, where Kája defended her previous year’s title.

More trophies did not come and the season was also disrupted by the coronavirus pandemic, which also complicated the cooperation. Karolína played her last tournament in Ostrava in late October.

“From next week, we will start preparing for the upcoming season. But there is one change – with coach Daniel Vallverdu we agreed to end our cooperation due to our time commitments. It was nice meeting him and his family and I wish him all the best in his future career,” Karolína announced.

The new season will start for Karolina in mid-December already, when she will travel to Australia.
